          Cecilia (Mourao) Fernandes, 71, of New Bedford passed away November 25, 2021 at home after a long, courageous battle with ALS. She was born in Cervos, Portugal to the late Artur Mourao and the late Ana (Dias) Mourao.

          She was the former wife of Abilio Fernandes. She came to the United States in 1961 as a young child. She was an accountant for YSI and worked for Coyne Textile prior.

          She loved dancing and music and adored her Shih Tzu, Missy.
