          Trevor Bannister is an English actor best known for his role as Mr. Lucas in the BBC sitcom Are You Being Served? He has also appeared in many other television shows, films, and stage productions.

          Bannister was born in Durrington, Wiltshire, England, on 14 August He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and began his career in the theatre. He made his West End debut in the musical Irma La Douce in Bannister's first television role was in the BBC series The Plane Makers in He went on to appear in many other television shows, including The Avengers, The Saint, The Sweeney, Doctor Who, and The Professionals.
